Jenn Wells,
Accountant Extraordinaire
CEO/Founder | Crunch Accounting
Jenn Wells has worked with small businesses and entrepreneurs for more than 30 years, helping them understand their numbers and build strong financial foundations for their businesses.
Jenn began her accounting career in the 1980s in the accounting department at Seattle’s Best Coffee. In 1991, she opened her own accounting practice and worked alongside her father in a successful tax and accounting firm that served many businesses in Seattle’s Ballard fishing community.
In 2001, Jenn moved to Port Townsend and expanded her entrepreneurial experience by purchasing and operating The English Inn Bed & Breakfast. She later served as Executive Director of the Port Townsend / Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce and went on to lead a Chamber of Commerce in Ventura County, California. Throughout these roles, Jenn developed a deep appreciation for supporting local businesses and vibrant small-town economies.
Even while running these organizations and businesses, Jenn continued working with her accounting clients, one of whom she has worked with for more than 25 years.
Jenn’s true passion is helping entrepreneurs understand the financial side of their business. Her approach goes beyond simply keeping the books. She helps business owners move past the confusion and anxiety that many people feel around money and finances, giving them the clarity and tools they need to run their businesses with confidence.
Jenn is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor, a Certified Money Coach, and works closely with small businesses to improve their bookkeeping systems, financial understanding, and overall business decision-making.
Jenn operates her accounting practice in Port Townsend, Washington, and works with small businesses throughout the region.
When she’s not working with clients, Jenn runs her crystal shop Soulful Abundance located in downtown Port Townsend, and enjoys life in the beautiful Pacific Northwest with her dog Sophie.
Jenn is currently participating in the Business Advisor Training Program through the Jefferson County Economic Development Council. This program prepares experienced professionals to provide structured advising and support to small businesses throughout Jefferson and Clallam Counties.
